This will be my first summer at the shop - I really want my customers to feel at home and experience a great coastal feel when they visit the site. Please ask as many questions as you need to - add us to your favourites and just remember that the delivery of your items is just as important as the initial purchase. I am more than happy to combine postage and each package is carefully wrapped for you

to enjoy!

We really do need a great British summer and to give you a taste of the coast I was lucky enough to spend the day yesterday

In Falmouth, Cornwall....

and what a lovely day it was!

Not the sunniest of weather, but the sea still looked clear - best viewed from a boat rather than 'in it' at this time of year! Seagulls were never far away and I wandered through the town, soaking up it's nautical feel and regional accents! Fantastic! With my love of photography there is always plenty of great subject matter - just by heading down the alleyways that lead to the sea I was in my element.

Great for shopping too - with a sprinkling of vintage and retro throughout I could easily loose a few hours. A quick visit to the Falmouth Art Gallery was well worth doing - with gems from Maritime artist Charles Napier Hemy and the most beautiful Pre-Raphaelite paintings by John William Waterhouse.

Welcome to Retro-On-Sea!

It has been a few weeks since I posted a blog - apologies to anyone looking for the next one - we have just been so busy!

A good problem to have though as the shop goes from strength to strength!

There is never a dull moment at Retro-On-Sea and thank you again to all the loyal customers who are enjoying shopping with us regularly!

We are having an Easter break, so are closed all of of this coming week. We re-open on the 17th April.

There will be a continuation of great summery items for your beach hut, campervan or coastal hideaway. We have a great combination of genuine retro items from the 50's through to the 70's. So there is normally something for everyone.

I will be enjoying this week with my family - I  cannot give enough thanks and credit to my wonderful hubbie Michael - who gives me his tireless support and enthusiasm for all things Retro-On-Sea and loves the coast as much as I do.
